“ I passed by this place as I was heading home from the West Loop and it caught my eye because a corned beef sandwich sounded like it would hit the spot as a place to grab a late lunch. It was a surprise how early they closed because they're a sandwich joint with fewer than ten sandwich options, none of which are particularly breakfast themed. I've never seen a restaurant with such a narrow focus but they know their niche and do it well. The rueben I ordered was really good. As someone said, it's not the biggest sandwich you'll ever have but it was well made and I wasn't hungry afterward. The employees were friendly and helpful. Parking is only street, and because it's Lake Ave street parking can be a bit tricky (and expensive). Luckily the el runs right along here. I am rarely in this area so I don't know when I'll be back, and there's so many restaurants around here that I'd probably want to try another, but it's a solid option. ”

“ One of the few spots in west loop that force you back in time. Place is OG, food is delicious and prices are unreal reasonable for Fulton market. So far I've tried the Tom & Jerry, the Reuben and the corned beef. Each and every sando is credible and the winner is the meats. The kettle chips are simply unrealistic and stay crunchy for a while. You will entirely miss this place if you're not specifically looking for it. Place is a bang for your buck but don't expect Manny sized sandwiches. They are smaller but MORE than plenty for 1 persons meal. Overall- one of my favorite Fulton market lunch spots! ”
